Samantha Nicodemus joined Alden Law Group in March 2022. Prior to joining Alden Law Group, she was an Attorney at Brooklyn Defender Services, where she provided legal representation to Brooklyn residents who otherwise could not afford counsel.
She received her J.D. from Liberty University School of Law in May 2020. While in law school Samantha served as the President of the Black Law Students Association. She was a member of the Virginia Legal Aid Clinic where she represented clients on issues concerning landlord tenant law, public benefit denials, employment claims, debt collection and defenses, and permanent protective orders.
Samantha was awarded an Equal Justice Works AmeriCorps Veterans Legal Corps Fellowship during law school, where she provided legal services to enable low-income and homeless veterans to rebuild their lives. She was also the recipient of the Liberty Law Fellowship Award for her work and dedication to public interest.
