Samantha Nicodemus is an associate attorney with Alden Law Group and contributes to all aspects of the firm’s litigation work.
As an associate attorney, Samantha has counseled and represented employees in claims against their current and former employers before federal and local agencies charged with protecting civil rights in the workplace, including the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the U.S. Merit Systems Protection Board (MSPB), and the Office of Special Counsel (OSC).
Samantha is actively engaged in the legal community through the Metropolitan Washington D.C. Employment Lawyers Association and the National Employment Lawyers Association.
Samantha was previously an Attorney at Brooklyn Defender Services, where she provided criminal legal defense to Brooklyn residents who otherwise could not afford counsel.

EDUCATION
Samantha received her J.D. from Liberty University School of Law in May 2020. While in law school Samantha served as the President of the Black Law Students Association. She was a member of the Virginia Legal Aid Clinic where she represented clients on issues concerning landlord tenant law, public benefit denials, employment claims, debt collection and defenses, and permanent protective orders.
Samantha was awarded an Equal Justice Works AmeriCorps Veterans Legal Corps Fellowship during law school, where she provided legal services to enable low-income and homeless veterans to rebuild their lives. She was also the recipient of the Liberty Law Fellowship Award for her work and dedication to public interest.
