Tyra Robinson is an associate attorney with Alden Law Group and contributes to all aspects of the firm’s litigation work. In her role at Alden Law Group, Tyra has counseled and represented employees in claims against their current and former employers before federal and local agencies charged with protecting civil rights in the workplace, including the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the U.S. Merit Systems Protection Board (MSPB), and the Office of Special Counsel (OSC).
Tyra is actively engaged in the legal community through the Federal Bar Association, Maryland State Bar Association, the Alliance of Black Women Attorneys, the Metropolitan Washington D.C. Employment Lawyers Association (MWELA), and the National Employment Lawyers Association.
Tyra was previously an Attorney at Public Justice Center where she worked on wage and hour disputes and workers’ rights advocacy.
EDUCATION
Tyra received her J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in May 2019. In law school, she found fulfilling experiences as a legal intern in the Criminal Justice Clinic and serving as the President of the Black Law Students Association. Additionally, she was chosen for a 2019 Saul S. Biskind Fellowship in recognition of her commitment to public interest law.
