Shan R. Shah has been practicing law with Alden Law Group since May 2016. Shan represents the firm’s clients in a variety of cases with an emphasis on claims arising out of sexual harassment.
Shan received his J.D. from the Temple University Beasley School of Law in 2012. While in law school, Shan was a member of the Temple International and Comparative Law Journal and participated in the school’s award-winning trial advocacy program. Additionally, he interned for Servicemembers Legal Defense Network, a nonprofit organization dedicated to advocating for the rights of LGBT service members, including those discharged under “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell.”
Shan received his B.A. in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland in 2009. He is a member of the Metropolitan Washington Employment Lawyers Association and is licensed to practice law in the District of Columbia, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Maryland. Prior to joining Alden Law Group, Shan represented both public and private sector employees in Pennsylvania and New Jersey in a wide variety of employment discrimination, civil rights, and whistleblowing matters.
