Abbey A. Taylor received her J.D. from The George Washington University Law School in May 2020. She joined the firm as an Associate in December 2020. Abbey first started with Alden Law Group as a Law Clerk in January 2020.
During law school, Abbey was a member of the Moot Court Board and was a semi-finalist in the National Telecommunications and Technology Moot Court Competition. She also served as Senior Production Editor of the Federal Communications Law Journal, as well as a Legal Research and Writing Fellow, where she assisted hundreds of first-year students with learning legal writing and advocacy skills. Abbey was also a member of the Public Justice Advocacy Clinic where she directly represented low-income clients in a variety of matters, including wage and hour disputes, unemployment compensation, and federal administrative appeals. Abbey received recognition for her pro bono work during law school and received the President’s Volunteer Service Award.
In 2017, Abbey graduated summa cum laude from the University of Oklahoma with a B.A. in Public and Nonprofit Administration and a B.A. in Women’s and Gender Studies. There, she was honored as the Outstanding Senior in Women’s and Gender Studies.
Abbey A. Taylor is licensed to practice in the state of Maryland and is anticipating admission to the Bar of the District of Columbia. Her interests include Oklahoma Sooners football and trying to find the best Tex-Mex food.
